Baptism in the Church of the Nazarene PDF Print E-mail
Believing that Christian baptism is a sacrament commanded by our Lord and which signifies acceptance of the benefits of the atonements of Jesus Christ, it should be administered to believers as a declaration of their faith in and obedience to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Baptism being a symbol of the new covenant, the Church of the Nazarene practices infant baptism along with adult baptism, at the request of the parents or guardians who shall give assurance for the infants necessary Christian training.

Also, baptism can be administered by sprinkling, pouring, or immersion, according to the choice of the applicant.
